hi, everyone
i'm testing observium with many pollers for my institution, its working very good, but....how i must configure the syslog?
[image: image.png] The syslog must send data to a poller? or to mysql ?

Hi,
Any poller can ingest syslog entries if it has a correctly configured syslog server.
Beware that the poller needs to be able to guess the device based on the IP address in the syslog message, thus pushing syslog through NAT won't usually work well.

Hi Arnoldo,
could you please share your procedure to configure the pollers?
In my previous attempts, rrdcached (option -L) on master didn’t update the graphs anymore, and the remote pollers didn’t have their rrd data written on master as well.
Thanks!
Luca
