Hello,
I'm testing out Observium for use.
I have run in to an issue where BGP for 3 Peers show up as down (They are shutdown in switch configuration) and 2 other peers on another switch is showing the same thing.. Peer is shutdown on the switch..
I can't find anywhere to check ignore to have the Observium ignore the peers which are down ..
I tried searching all over for this information but thus far I haven't been successful.
Thanks for you time!
Sonny

I have noticed this as well: BGP sessions that are in an administrative shutdown mode show up as down in Observium. I would expect that this mode would not throw up a red warning flag like an interface that is administratively shutdown.
I also have been getting some reports from Observium of my BGP sessions flapping. However, when I do an "show ip bgp summary" the results show that none of my sessions have flapped. Does anyone know what criteria Observium uses to determine if a BGP session has flapped?

That code is ancient. It could probably do with being rewritten.

It seems the code base has changed dramatically... Is there up to date docs on the features that currently work and those that you should not waste your time on? I wasted days on trying to figure out email notices only to find out the code was ripped out.. and or disabled in some way..

No code has been removed, deprecated perhaps.
There isn't really very much documentation, as any time I spend writing documentation is time not spent writing code. And of course, I don't really need any documentation! :)
Welcome to free software ;)
