Hello List,
I used to get emails of alerts (including BGP, temperature) but not anymore. I keep on doing SVN updates every week. I noticed that the emails were not coming after many updates. I've not changed any settings. I wonder what is wrong. I have set SNMP contact as 'netadmin' in all my routers. Observium was sending emails to this alias. Anybody knows how to fix this?
Current version is as below:-
Apache: 2.2.3 (CentOS) PHP: 5.1.6 MySQL: 5.0.77 RRDtool: 1.4.5 Observium: 0.12.8.3358
Config.php is as below:-
### ADDED - Alert Settings $config['alerts']['email']['default'] = NULL; ## Default alert recipient $config['alerts']['email']['default_only'] = FALSE; ## Only use default recipient $config['alerts']['email']['enable'] = TRUE; ## Enable email alerts #$config['alerts']['port']['ifdown'] = TRUE; ## Generate alerts for ports that go down
Alerts broken and unsupported for now. Should come back with new updated alerting system in some future.

Yes indeed. After we get enough danger money donations to risk our sanity on attempting to write an alerting framework.
:D
