Hi Bernd, the snmp contact (SNMPv2-MIB::sysContact) is set in the snmpd configuration file on the client. If the client is running linux, see the man page for snmpd.conf for more details.

that is not possible, you can not overwrite this information as it fetched from polled device. Only the sysLocation information can be overwritten.

Thx for your answer but you change the snmp contact on the client or server. I will change the snmp contact on the Observium-Server because i have no rights on the other server where i can change the contact group unter der Service snmp.
