Hi,
S4810 switches is not being detected as S4810 switches with the latest community edition - observium says:
Dell Networking OS Operating System Version: 2.0 Application Software Version: 9.4(0.0P1) Series: S4810 Copyright (c) 1999-2014 by Dell Inc. All Rights Reserved. Build Time: Mon Apr 21 08:28:51 PDT 2014
Also it appears that the polling process is crashing the OSPF process on the S4810 switches, causing them to reboot, in case someone reads this before installing ;-) I’m opening a ticket with Dell on that one.
Regards Kristoffer

Hi there,
I confirm, since the upgrade, the device is no longer detected as a network device in Observium :

However, I do not have that issue with the OSPF process. I am using the Pro edition 0.14.5.5478

Hi guys,
We're checking for presence of "Force10 Operatingsystem" or "Force10 OS" currently. Apparently Dell no longer liked the name...
If you can get me the sysObjectId of your device we can add it in a saner way.

Multiple ports are possible, subnets are layer 3 while port accounting is layer 2, so no, that's not possible.

Hi guys,
We're checking for presence of "Force10 Operatingsystem" or "Force10 OS" currently. Apparently Dell no longer liked the name...
If you can get me the sysObjectId of your device we can add it in a saner way.
snmpget -v2c -c <yourcommunity> <yourdevice> -On sysObjectID.0

Hi,
S4810 switches is not being detected as S4810 switches with the latest community edition - observium says:
Dell Networking OS Operating System Version: 2.0 Application Software Version: 9.4(0.0P1) Series: S4810 Copyright (c) 1999-2014 by Dell Inc. All Rights Reserved. Build Time: Mon Apr 21 08:28:51 PDT 2014
Also it appears that the polling process is crashing the OSPF process on the S4810 switches, causing them to reboot, in case someone reads this before installing ;-) I’m opening a ticket with Dell on that one.
Regards Kristoffer
