Ignore "Status" sensors
It would be awesome if we could turn alerting for individual "Status Indicators" off the same way we can for normal sensors.
We have a few problematic hosts with sensor issues, for example a dead RAID battery on a machine that is getting decomm'd in a few weeks. Unfortunately this means that every day (re-alert interval) we get alarms for these hosts for the same issues.
I'd love to be able to just turn those specific Indicators off, without having to remove the whole host from that Alert Checker, as we do still want to know if anything else is wrong with the box. Same with the reoccurring alerts, we want to leave those on for all devices.

Yeah this is a pretty longstanding thing I've meant to add. I've been trying to not have to write a load of unmaintanable code specific to status like I did for sensors, and instead do some kind of generic system that can generate these pages for any entity type.
I should add that to some kind of list somewhere. ;)
You can probably "manually" set these entities to be ignored in the database. If you were so motivated :)
Adam.

It should also be possible to use the "ignore until ok" setting on the alert.
The easiest way to access it is to click the tick mark for the specific staus alert when looking at the list of all current alerts.
That should prevent the re-alert from being sent. Once the status error clears back to an ok state, the alert notifications will resume on the next change of state.
Cheers,
Michael
