Hi
As our installation is getting heavy and I have seen more and more use for the "Ports/All Ports" page. I becomes clear that the page should not load anything but the search bar until you actually klick the search button.
Saves me some minutes of waiting everyday.
I think this behaviour should be either configurable, or triggered based on being >$xK ports?

I'd say both, with sane defaults, if you set it zero when no ports shown.

My vote is list + search by default with a pager (configurable on/off/# per page). Best of both worlds? You don't have to wait for the page to load with a pager that way.

Someone please teach me how to properly write a pager.
:)

Well, Adam, if you really suck that badly as a developer then I guess to hell with the pager and run with what Mattias suggested and default to a search-only.
Which, upon further contemplation, is actually quite workable too, I think.
BTW: You don't suck. At all. ;)

No, I totally do. Last time i tried to write a pager it was horrific.
adam.
Pager...like something that paginates the results by chunks of 30?

Hi All
I would not like pages, just a long list. Doing pages stops you form searching the page itself. And make copy paste into other applications difficult.
Just search and sorting -> long list

This is the reason I always forget about when talking about this.
It'd be an option, a "show all" button, in instances where the paging is enabled.
