Billing/Invoicing Integration Options
Is anyone aware of any option--built in or 3rd party, that would automate or help in creating invoices based on a template to be sent to customers? I have traffic bills set up within Observium, but this only appears to be about 1/2 the battle.

We don't have anything official, but it shouldn't be too difficult to pull the data out of the billing history table and shove it in to whatever invoicing system you want to use.
We're not really likely to ever get involved in invoicing or dealing with currency from our side :)

Hello. While we are on the subject. It would be nice with a reporting function. For instance sending the output from the billing module to email addresses (account people that would handle the invoicing) Also sending availability reports for a group of devices for SLA purposes to the same person. Might be able to tag Devices with customers and send bill + SLA in the same report? This would make this solution perfect for our purposes. And we more or less wouldn't need any other system for monitoring and availability. :)

What I do is import the database tables that I want to my datawarehouse. Then I create reports off of those tables for the customer. I personally use MS SQL to do my import, dimension/fact creation, and report services to email the reports out.

Have you ever caught wind of any 3rd party apps for this--understanding that you would not be recommending or endorsing them. The only thing I am able to find so far via Google is very pricey and not even sure it would do the job.

Not really, it's a little outside of my experience, I've never really done billing integration.
It's probably the kind of thing you could get someone to knock up in a few days if you have any PHP/perl coders at your place.
