Hi,
Can someone confirm if this is just us or if it has happened for everybody...
Looking at the CBQoS stats for any port (or vlan) and they no longer show the 'friendly' name from the class itself (image attached):
This appears to have gone missing from all Sup-720/6500, Sup-2T/6800 and ASR9k based chassis we have here. If someone can confirm theirs is working or not-working then I'll log an appropriate bug and include debug information etc.
About a week ago I noticed that the 6800/S2T chassis names had gone missing but it was still working for the ASR9k, however now they have gone also.
Cheers as always people!

Hi,
Can someone just have a quick check on their install to see if this really only affecting us? It kind of changes whether we are looking for an issue with our installation specifically or in general.
Cheers!

I notice that descriptions exist on some devices and not others. I suspect it's due to differences in the way different OS versions handle the MIBs.
I don't have the ability to test it at the moment, beyond my original development device which seems to be working fine.

We run nightly updates and discoveries. We are not seeing this issue. All policy and class map names are showing correctly. Verified on 2600, 2800, 7206vxr, 7301.

I do actually see them not working correctly on IOS-XE on ASR1Ks.
But, given IOS-XE, I am not surprised. They seem to have broken about 50% of the SNMP features in XE (and NXOS, and XR...).

Oh, and they seem to be working on /other/ ports on the ASR1K. Hmm.
I will add it to the list to investigate :)

Hi,
Thanks for all your inputs - Just picking back up on this now I’m back in. I’ve just looked and descriptions are back again for IOS-XR 5.1.x cool - although it’s still missing for IOS 15.x ?
I have previously had to find all the elements myself for something else:
1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.6.1.1.1 = List of all the policies themselves 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.7.1.1.1 = List of all the classes 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.1.1.1.4 = The IF indexes they map to 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.166.1.5.1.1.2 = Index of each reference/relationship
Interestingly, all of those items are in exactly the same place both on IOS and IOS-XR as far as I can tell, so I’m baffled why it would work for one and not the other?
So, in which case, Adam (or anyone else who fancies a look) – would it help if I provided access to (or full debugs from) the IOS 15.x device?..
Cheers!
