Re: [Observium] FW: FTOS 9.4 not working properly with Observium whereas 8.3.12.0 for Force10 switches
Hello Adam,
In 5812, since the upgrade of FTOS in 9.5.0.1 (from 9.4.0.0.P1), CPU and memory of Dell S4810 are no longer graphed in Observium.
When rebooted, the discovery process saw :
Memory pool removed: mib f10-s-series-chassis-mib, index 1, descr Unit 0 22 SystemVersion -> 9.5(0.1) Any idea ?

Probably because Dell === suck.
They've probably replaced half of the original F10 MIBs with some horrible Dell abortion, like they do with everything else with ethernet ports.

Not sure if this is useful, but I thought I would share it:

We actually already supported all of the Force10 MIBs, it just seems like they have changed something.

Without seeing the new MIB or having access hardware to test it on, I think the Observium team will find this difficult to debug. If you can get a SNMPwalk of that section of the mib tree on a system before and after the upgrade that would be more useful to understanding what is going on.
