How best to tell Observium that VMware is no longer unix [SEC=UNCLASSIFIED]
Back in the bad old days, esx was run on a version of RedHat Linux (RHEL). Now they run their own kernel.
During discovery, i noticed that the unix agent was trying to be contacted and also has (unix). Reasonably sure VMware won't support it. Your native VM detection and polling is sufficient anyway.

Hi Peter,
It looks like you enabled the unix agent module globally instead of per device. That's ok, I do it too, but then you need to turn it off on specific hosts. You can do this in the settings tab, module section.
For most intents and purposes, as far as I know, VMWare still belongs in the unix host group.
