collectd dns graphs ... short memory

The dns and powerdns plugins provide only the same 2 hour snapshot in all four graphs. Does anyone know why that is? Some other collectd tabs, such as cpu, do provide broader time ranges in the four graphs.

for collectd? perhaps an issue with the collectd graphing code.
does it happen with any other graphs? i don't have any powerdns/dns graphs to test with.
adam.

some of the collectd graphs have history others don't, i assume the issue has to do with the differing plugins.

none of mine exhibit this behaviour (and i dont' see how they can with the code that generates the graph tags).
Can you provide a screenshot?

The plugins
contextswitch dnd powerdns
all display the same data in each of the four graphs

What version? Does that happen with any other graphs?

I only see an issue with the ones I listed. Will have to get version from someone, will provide asap.

contextswitch and dns work fine when added to the dev installation.
your version is probably old. note that we don't support *not* tracking the svn release reasonably regularly.

Adam,
Thanks a lot, I'll follow up on that and let you know if I still have a problem.

Yeah, this was fixed 3.5 months ago in r2359.
Please tell whoever's in charge of the installation that they're supposed to update regularly, we provide an nightly auto-update mechanism for that! :D
