Hi, This might have been asked before, apologies if so.
Is it possible somehow to assign ownership of raised alerts?
We operate a largish support function and have noticed people are suppressing alerts they think other people are working on, sometimes erroneously. Having notes or a ownership assignment of a raised alert might help sort this.
Thanks!
Andy Franks

Hi Adam, Thanks for the reply. Just the simple indication of ownership for an alert instance would be absolutely fine, don’t need anything more. The previous in-house system we had had something similar and it worked well to resolve any ambiguity.
Thanks

You don't often get email from adama@observium.orgmailto:adama@observium.org. Learn why this is importanthttps://aka.ms/LearnAboutSenderIdentification
This message originated from outside of NHSmail. Please do not click links or open attachments unless you recognise the sender and know the content is safe. Hi,
This is not a terrible idea, and I can see the utility, but I’m not sure how we’d implement this.
Would you just want to attach a user to an ongoing alert to signify that it’s “owned” by someone? This might be doable just with another db field (which in itself is quite expensive given how massive that table gets).
Doing anything more complex than this would likely spiral into overcomplexity.
Adam.
