Certain MySQL agent graphs not showing
Hi,
Once again it's me. I have the mysql and apache agents running on a few machines and have observium picking the data up. This is working fine for apache and mostly for mysql, but I have missing graphs for 'process list' 'myisam indexes' (our dbs are mainly innodb based), table locks, and temporary objects. I have followed the agent instructions to a tee as far as I can see and have double checked my configuration, as well as googled for any info, but I am stuck on this one.
Is there any way I can either remove these broken graph links or fill out the information? I can't see what I'd change to make them appear to be honest.
Any pointers would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Shaun
I suspect this data being correctly graphed is version specific, or perhaps the script is not correctly picking up the variables from mysql.
I'm not sure. You could try picking apart the MySQL script and making sure it pulls the correct data. :)

On 4210 here and it's a pretty fresh install, only a few versions back. Your stated fix did bring a few more graphs up though, unless that was just the polling overnight. Perhaps I'll wait a few days longer to see if any other graphs appear. I'm missing a few on the 'queries' and 'innodb' pages too.

Well, I've run the mysql agent manually, setting the debug file output and I've noticed the missing graph variable names are returning '-1' for that variable, but in the debug log it looks like everything is getting information. Logging in as the observium_mon user and running the 'show innodb status' commands and suchlike does actually return information so I'm not sure if the agent is doing something weird. Either that or it's me :)

Ah, I've noticed the exact same graphs don't work on your demo site too. At least it's not an isolated problem. Hmm.

It seems that half of the applications graphs were re-using $vars which clashed with pretty much the entire web interface.
I've changed the variable name and all of those MySQL graphs are drawing again.
