Is anyone using Ubiquiti EdgeRouters and EdgeSwitches with Observium? I know they are not on the supported devices list, but neither are the APs and they seem to work quite well.
Cheers

We have both EdgeSwitches and EdgeRouters in Observium and they work acceptably since they are both *unix based devices. Picks up vlans, ports, ospf, etc, etc. Just no specialty stuff.

I think the supported device list stopped accurately representing what we supported a number of years ago. :)
EdgeRouters are just Vyatta, right? What are EdgeSwitches?

If I remember correctly my EdgeRouter Lite showed up flawless, except that the location string had "" for which I opened a bug report. (Not sure if they fixed it) So I guessing the EdgeSwitches should work too.

Ubiquiti EdgeSwitches are based on Broadcom chipset like a lot of manufacturers, and don't really share much in common with the Vyatta-based EdgeOS stuff used on the EdgeRouter.
We're working on picking up some extra information from the EdgeSwitches. :)

Tom, yeah, we've been pretty happy with them so far. The EdgeSwitches are still a bit young in their functionality (they definitely aren't a Cisco) but the EdgeRouters are based off of the last Vyatta fork and it is pretty feature rich already.
Adam, you're spot on, the EdgeSwitches don't share much of anything with the EdgeRouters besides a black metal case. Let us know if you need any help with the EdgeSwitches.

Do you have UBNT's MIBs for the EdgeSwitch?
They should be some variant of the FASTPATH-* MIBs, but I can't seem to find them anywhere!

No dedicated MIB's for it unfortunately. UBNT doesn't have great SNMP support for most of their products...
