We had similar issue before and finally resolved. Please check your cron and rrd folder permission. Please note that the you cannot use cron -e to add task.

Hello Observium Members,
I have a slight issue with my graphs. I��ve installed the free version of Observium and can log into the web interface easily.
When I add a device to Observium using the CLI it has no issue adding the device. However, when I run a ./poller.php �Ch all it says that there is no rrd directory.
All the graphs have a ��Data Error�� on them.
So, I create the rrd folder and run again. Then data populates. However, it doesn��t list any graphics for the graphs.
The graph is present without issue but there is no traffic.
It is all of them (System, Netstats and Poller).
