Stop.. you override sysLocation in webui to "HEX", then add $config['location_map']['HEX'] and wait for it to work?
Override by 'location_map' works only with the original sysLocation.

This is still not working for me. I have upgraded, polled, unchecked and rechecked the override box but still no joy. This is the line in the config that works perfectly for the snmp devices that correctly report HEX as their location.

And this is a screen shot of the node as requested is below. As you can see the location of the device does not then reconcile to the full address following a rediscover.
