My fault, I tried to mask the circuit number with 12345.
Hehe, than I think this more simple issue :)
You use Pro or CE edition? If Pro, show output from log file: $ grep ifAlias /opt/observium/logs/db.log | tail -n 5
if CE or log empty, than show debug output for ports poller: ./poller.php -d -m ports -h <your_device>
Here is a screen shot.

Hello All,
Could some one help me decode a log entry in Observium? We get this entry every 5 minutes in Observium, but nothing changes on the interface (That we know of :) ).
2015-07-01 13:30:45svs-za-jhb-ne-mse-001ge-1/0/1.1557Interface changed: [ifAlias] ABC CPE1 Interface | VRF:ABC-VRF | Vlan 1557 | CircuitNo:027JOHA1802009912345 -> ABC CPE1 Interface | VRF:ABC-VRF | Vlan 1557 | CircuitNo:027JOHA1802009912345
Is there a way to see what triggered this in Observium?
As I see, your device store in ifAlias "CircuitNo", which for some reason is constantly changing: CircuitNo:027JOHA1802009912345 CircuitNo:027JOHA18020099_01391_
