Today my maps changed from Google to openstreetmap (in configuration file I have defined google?!).
Meanwhile some locations are not in proper places.
Could you tell me what happened? J

Locations are unaffected by the map drawing library.

That kinda sucks as google maps has the satellite view. It still works if you use the previous version, which I did a vm snapshot before I upgraded. I may go back.

Google will eventually block you, as you've be using it outside of their license terms. This is why we dropped it.
There will be the ability to use alternative map tile providers with the new map in future, but we likely will keep the lightweight carto tiles as default, since we have a large enough userbase that we put noticeable load on whatever provider we use.

Sadly, you won't get tiles with colours without paying someone.
Our userbase is far too large to use osm directly.

Leo,
as the code is just text, you could find where the Google code is and add it back in.
for companies/departments like ours, we pay money to Google for other services, so we will not get blocked.
it seems unfair for those who pay Google to lose the ability. ..
as for snapshotting, just copy the code to a different directory before making an update so you have a way back if something goes missing (like all the disks in AIX :-), without losing the values in the rrds.
thanks
