Observium tells you in the event log why it thinks the device is down (ping or snmp)

If Observium thinks a device is down it's either because it can't ping it, or it doesn't get an SNMP response from it.

Check you can snmpwalk the device from the Observium server.

It's always the firewall, or the acls.

I know it needs tweaking because right now, I have a message that a device is down, and I am able to log into it. Not only that, but O tells me that the box has been down for some time, yet I am able to ping from it.
