for example, my top level in my target file isn't the hostname. my target file in made like this:

• [site]

++ [type of device] +++ [name of the device] menu = title = host =

if i understand correctly, observium will search for something like:

• [FQDN] (same as in observium)

is there any way to make observium for : "host = " instead of "+ [FQDN]

slap me if i'm wrong :)

So make sure you don’t deviate from the default Smokeping general settings.****
