IF you have a SNMP-server in the tablet, yes. I dont really understand the use case though.

This could be useful if need to monitor wall based tablets used with building automation systems,
however, to my knowledge Android doesn't have any means of SNMP. So the options would be to compile something like Net-SNMP yourself but it may require quite a few libraries that are not included on the Android platform.

Check the play store or Amazon app store. There may be an SNMP server app already available. If not, you might contact a group like the developer that makes "servers Ultimate". It seems they have almost everything except SNMP.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.snmp_agent (search for SNMP Agent 4A)
might be ok.
thanks

Though this is the only agent that is capable enough to receive snmp traps when installed on the tablet.
But when you try to add this tablet into observium, it fails.
Even snmpwalk give Time out error. only when you try snmpwalk with port you get a reply but still it does not allow you to add the device in observium.
Anyways really appreciate response and kind consideration of observium community.
Cheers,

Thanks William,
There is already a paid product available for android.
http://www.artfulbits.com/products/android/snmp-for-android.aspx#Features_1
but after you install the apk, the app just would not start, i tried on multiple tablets.
I believe the inherent differences between tablet and OS platforms are acting up in this case.
@KayaSaman is right, we need to some how port net-snmp into java(tablet) based environment.
Thank you All.
You guys are great community.
Cheers,
