New to observium and new to the list.
Set it up yesterday and still feeling my way around, but I am pretty impressed so far. Is there a basic setup guide to monitor VMWare, somewhere?

VMWare is a tiny bit of a pain since they removed a lot of SNMP support. Tom is currently writing code to collect virtual machine information, which is either already released or should be committed soon.

For VMware through SNMP the rewritten code is in Observium. But I'm not sure what versions of ESX still supply this info - I don't have any code (yet?) for VMWare's CIM. Not sure how to approach that yet :-)

Any progress on the CIM stuff? Just built out some new hosts and would be great to get monitoring setup on them.
