i tried to add host , please check the below section:
./addhost.php ben.test.net any v2c Trying community any ... No reply on community any using v2c Could not reach ben.test.net with given SNMP community using v2c Trying community any ... No reply on community any using v2c Could not reach ben.test.net with given SNMP community using v2c
Observium v0.13.4.3917 Add Host Tool
Usage (SNMPv1/2c): ./addhost.php <hostname> [community] [v1|v2c] [port] [udp|udp6|tcp|tcp6] Usage (SNMPv3) : Config Defaults : ./addhost.php <hostname> any v3 [user] [port] [udp|udp6|tcp|tcp6] No Auth, No Priv : ./addhost.php <hostname> nanp v3 [user] [port] [udp|udp6|tcp|tcp6] Auth, No Priv : ./addhost.php <hostname> anp v3 <user> <password> [md5|sha] [port] [udp|udp6|tcp|tcp6] Auth, Priv : ./addhost.php <hostname> ap v3 <user> <password> <enckey> [md5|sha] [aes|dsa] [port] [udp|udp6|tcp|tcp6] Remember to run discovery for the host afterwards.
i did this setup on local machine and i want to ad this local machine as host.Is it possible to add like this.? But i am getting the above error message. it's trying to get through snmp. but in my machine snmp is running.
please help me to fix this issue
Thanks & Regards, Ben
