What is the best way to go about changing the IP I am using to monitor the device without loosing all the graph data?

I found the rename.php script in the root directory of observium. Seemed to work fine.

The rename_device.php tool in the observium directory will do this.
./rename_device.php old new
Though you really should not be using bare IPs in observium...

We use loopback IPs normally. This one device was just not configured that way.

Adam, now when the install-script sets the correct permissions default wouldn't it possible to have rename device in the GUI? I assume the blocker was the webserver was not allowed to change directory names in the rrd-dir? /Markus
