Hi,
I am monitoring an Arista 7508E with 4x7500E-36Q-LC line cards. This are 40GB ports that can be subdivided into 10GB ports. This represent a maximum of 576 10GB ports, each of them having several sensors (See below what the Observium inventory reports).
Right now, these sensors are graphed all together with the chassis sensors making graphs that are not really useful (See attached).
Is it/would it be possible, to display each sensors in the detailed view of the ports instead ?

Hi Louis,
The ENTITY-SENSORS-MIB discovery module which discovers these sensors pre-dates the ability to link sensors to ports. It can be done, but would require that module to be rewritten.
It's on the list, somewhere... :)

Adam,
Even when sensors are linked to ports, they're still shown in the graphs that aggregates sensors on the health tab:
save image
I'm guessing linking them will provide nice stats on the port detail page indeed, and a better overview on the overview page, but will not make the health page smaller, at the moment. :-)
