Hello, >From time to time, we have those messages in Observium eventlog: 2019-09-28 12:36:09 sg300-office Ip-addresses: 1 updated, 7 unchanged. 2019-09-28 12:36:09 sg300-office IP address changed: 2a01:ad42:8531:c422:2e36:f8ff:fe5e:49e2/64 -> 2a01:ad42:8531:c422:2e36:f8ff:fe5e:49e2/64 I see absolutely no difference between the two IPs... The IP itself is the one used by the switch, given automatically: Ipv6 Global Address Type 2a01:ad42:8531:c422:2e36:f8ff:fe5e:49e2/64 Autoconfig Could it be the autoconfig renew that seems to Observium to be a new IP ? (Observium Professional edition, Observium 19.8.10001 (stable)) Arnaud.

Hello, due to cookies problem i switched to rolling version, seems like cookies problem is gone, but sometimes i got "remote ip changed" error while im logging into Observium. Any suggestions ?

Mailer configuration

Hello all, I have tried repeatedly configuring the mailer agent with limited success. The PHP “email” fails to send via hosts as the from address is not working, it ends up sending as root(a)observium.cstreet.local even if I set the from address. When I set it to use postfix/sendmail from localhost I can get emails to send, and the from address is correct, but then it uses an old hostname “devnew65” as the dns name, which gets it rejected. I have been able to get a couple through our local mail server but the outside gets rejected. I have tried using authentication and it just doesn’t work and is rejected before authentication even takes place due to it’s source ip / dns. Any advice? The debug doesn’t show the actual mailing process or the php command or I would just write a quick php script to test it.
