Below is a plot for one of our systems. [image: image.png] It reports that 32.19GB of memory is being used and that 5.67GB of memory is cached. However when I run the free -h command on the system the values for these fields are different. [image: image.png] This makes it difficult to accurately monitor the memory usage and setup accurate alerts for memory usage for systems. Can this bug be fixed? Our version information is below. Unable to send notifications.

Hi Tam, We are facing notification related issue. We have created a port up/down alert in observium. It will be sending some switches port status only. Other switches will be showing in status as an unknown. But when we are seeing switch will be showing up & Realtime traffic also showing continuous. Please help us to resolve this issue. unix-agent stop being polled in r12899

Hi, r12899 makes unix-agent not being polled. Doing svn update -r 12898 makes things good again. My servers are mostly Debian. APP Polling on port 36602 stopped

Hello Since 2 days the APP polling at port 36602 doesn't work anymore. No device is working. I tried to telneting the target over cli and it gaves answer on 36602. Tcpdumping on a target there are not requests coming from observium. We are using Revision 23.7.12902. Does anyone else having also some troubles? Regards Walter

Netbotz Temperature Units

I just installed a new APC Netbotz 250 and I have configured its web interface to be in Fahrenheit but when I imported it into Observium the units are celsius. The weird thing is if I hover over the temperature it shows correctly in fahrenheit. observium misidentifying Microsoft Server 2022 Standard for Datacenter

Update, I looked closer and Observium is doing this for other versions of Microsoft Server, not just 2022. For example, I have a bunch of 2012r2 servers that I have checked and are Standard. They are getting marked as Datacenter. Hi, I just noticed that some of my 2022 servers are listed as Datacenter Edition. When I go to those servers and look at "about pc" they list as Standard Edition(as they should be). Can you please review your OS ident for Microsoft server 2022 Thanks Tony

Question about VRFs/BGP

Hello, Our network engineers have a question about how Observium handles BGP sessions in multiple VRFs: > On IOSXR devices where we use mutliple VRFs, we are unable to monitor > BGP sessions outside of the global routing table. Traffic collection on the vlan interface

Good morning! I hope everyone is okay! I have a question about collecting traffic on vlan interfaces. My HPE/3Com devices (7510, 5510, 5520, 4800) show graphs of vlan interfaces but the graph is always empty with no data. On physical interfaces collected normally. Is there any configuration that I need/can do to get the values of the vlan interfaces? Thanks. --

New Observium Server

Hi, Currently we are setting up a new vm platform. I want to build a new Observium server (we have a pro license). Is it a problem that I run 2 instances for like 2 or 3 months until the new server is running like it should before I shut down the "old" one?
