Morning, Anyone know why "Drive Controller PERC H730 Mini (Embedded)<http://192.168.0.250/device/device=4/tab=health/metric=status/id=826/>", "Drive ID<http://192.168.0.250/device/device=4/tab=health/metric=status/id=827/>", "Drive List of Physical Disks on Controller PERC H730 Mini (Embedded)<http://192.168.0.250/device/device=4/tab=health/metric=status/id=825/>", and "Controller Status<http://192.168.0.250/device/device=4/tab=health/metric=status/id=824/>" show as "fail"? This is on various Dell servers (R620, R730). It would be good to either have this working or just ignore them altogether. Any ideas welcome. Chris Chris James Vessel Production Systems Manager

Assistance Updating Observium

Hi There, I have been attempting to reach someone from the Observium team to assist my company and I in updating our Software. We followed the instructions on the website located here: https://docs.observium.org/updating/ We did not have success. Our Observium server is hosted on a Linux Ubuntu server. jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation for Juniper Virtual-Chassis

Hello Observium Team, In our Datacenters we would like to make use of "jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation" for Juniper switches using Virtual-chassis techhnology. Normally virtual-chassis are in different locations for redundancy reasons. The "snmp location" is not really good to capture the location of the device (as the two switches are in different places but location will show what is configured with "snmp location" command). We updated our switch config with "jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation" information, but we still dont see the data in Observium. > show snmp mib walk jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation.0 = B-U-099 R01.01 jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation.1 = B-U-098 R01.02 Is this feature on the roadmap to be added? Not sure how much additional work this feature to be added, but going for the Enterprise model may potentially help with this feature request? Thank you for the feedback. ping probe not running

Mass SNMP Edit

Hi, I have migrated my devices from SNMp v1/2c to SNMP v3. As we have quote a number of devices, is there a script or anyway to mass edit the SNMP settings to v3 for these specific devices? We have put in config.php for v3 autodiscovery, but it isn't working. Warmest Regards, Nirmolak Singh

Adding more Nagions plugins

I went ahead and added another plugin to the /usr/lib/nagios/plugins directory where all the other working plugins are. When I go to add a probe it doesn't show up in the drop down box. Is there something that has to be ran to look for new plugins? Permissions/use/group are the same as the other plugins that work. Thanks
