Ruckus Access points

Hello all Is anybody managing Ruckus access points with observium? All the ruckus access points are presented as Generic device and I would also like to get graphs for number of users connected, for all the SSIDs. Thanks

Hi all, I'm trying to get observium work with some of our windows servers, particularly for mssql and exchange stuff. Couple of Q's - Exchange - it's not pickup up any data, but maybe this is because we're using 2003 - is this "supported". I use the quotes as the wmi stuff is listed as very much in development so possibly not working.. MSSQL - again no data, all zeros like with exchange. I tried the polling.php wmi specific command, but I can't see any wmi stuff particularly - just the standard snmp. Thanks in advance andy

Hi Adam, Thanks. Tricky this – I’m trying to sell observium to management, who are playing hardball and trying things like netsight from extreme (any negatives for this!?). Anyway, monitoring exchange and MSSQL are big positives towards my argument. WMIC is used for the connection and querying, so perhaps I’d best look at the php behind it if time permits. We switched from opmanager to observium in July. Clients love the dashboard and look of observium. I would say observium is one of if not the best. We previously used logicmonitor, nagios, opmanager, cacti and others. The monitoring in observium is limited - to what scripts you can write and integrate with the platform. Hi all, I tried asking this on the forum: http://observiumforum.com/forum/main-category/main-forum/78-thnking-of-buyi… but after 22 views no one hasn't answered.. I tried the IRC but it seemed to be closed? I was told by the bot that my chat messages wasn't sent to channel.. So now i try here.. I run a IT consultant company and we are maybe planing on using observium. For now we have a test installation of the free version running to much success! Besides the ease of use through SNMP we do look to the customer feature and alert feature you get with the pro edition. I can see site2site tunnels as active and can see the traffic but can we also monitor its state and alert on this? Or get a site2site uptime number?
