Hi, I manually config geolocation as below details. // Geocoding Setting $config['geocoding']['enable'] = TRUE; // Enable Geocoding $config['geocoding']['api'] = 'google'; // Which GEO API use ('mapquest', 'google', 'yahoo', 'openstreetmap', 'yandex') $config['geocoding']['api_key'] = 'sjfasdjhfdsjlkfjsdjfaldj'; // API KEY if required $config['geocoding']['default']['lat'] = '13.0731060'; // Default latitude $config['geocoding']['default']['lon'] = '80.1937312'; // Default longitude Why it wont follow my manual configuration in config.php?All my devices are all over the world. problem with overall traffic view

hello, I found a little problem (maybe not a bug, but I think is not so good). if I use "overall_traffic" aggregation (ie for peering) observium make a graph with stacking the traffic from all the ports with a description starting with a label (ie "peering:"), and it works ok. but if I modify a port (ie dismiss a peering, removing also the "peering:" label from the router interface) observium remove all the pregress traffic the old interface did from the 'peering' graph, so you lose part of the old stats :-( isn't it possible to have the overall_traffic collected in a dedicated rrd, use the sum of labelled interfaces for new data and use the rrd data for the old data in order to have a real historic data even if I change a port? thanks -- bye, emilio

Unknown Processor Type

The includes/definitions/os.inc.php file has a do not edit disclaimer at the top. Is there a file I can make changes to to add the 'remote access' options? I may have edited the file anyway and the options propagated appropriately to the devices. Will these changes be reverted during a svn up? Printer toner alert

Hi All! I'm fairly new with the alerts, so don't hit me too hard. :) I'm trying to create an alert checker for some printers, it should send an alert when the toner level is below 5%. The associations seem OK, at least my Device Match rule "|type equals printer|" (with an "*" entity match) yields all the printers in Observium. But the condition rule seems suspect to me. Based on the documentation and the examples I wrote: |"supply_value lt 5%" |but it shows everything OK on all printers, despite of having at least 3 printers with 1% toner cartridge. Could you help me, what am I doing wrong, or what's missing? Btw: I'm using the latest CE version. Should I include some more information? Regards, Tylla

Customizing Recent Events

Dear all, I’d like to put a filter on “Recent Events” section of the dashboard, but I could not find any information regarding that. Now the section is too chatty, for example I see lots of these messages: Et140/1/48 Interface changed: [ifDuplex] '' -> ‘unknown’ or Et141/1/39 Interface changed: [ifDuplex] '' -> 'fullDuplex' But what I’d like to see is when an interface goes up and down, and hide not important messages if possible. Hi , I see ZHONE directory in /opt/observium/mibs/zhone. I added Zhone MKX to Observium but it seems that Observium did not recognize the OS type. How to specify the type of OS ? then Observium can use Zhone MIB to query data ?
