Code to Delete interfaces that match bad_if?

So I spent a lot of time digging through the code to figure out how bad_if works. I wanted to remove the stacking "ports" there were showing up. Added this code to my config: $config['bad_if'][] = "stack"; However the ports weren't getting removed. Upon further investigation I found that the current code only prevents the addition of a match. However, if the port is already in the database nothing is done. Is this the desired behaviour or should ports that match be removed from the database? ~pyther

map.php?format=svg is gone

Hey, It seems now localhost/map.php?format=svg is no more working, is this intended? I understand this is never been supported, but I've been using it to draw full network map and this is work perfect for me.

CollectD Integration - Graphing

I'm looking to customize the CollectD graphs, specifically for the DNS plug to overlay the Rcode and Qtype data, similar to the CollectD plugin example: http://collectd.org/wiki/index.php/Plugin:DNS Could anyone point me in the right direction on this? The current graphed output isn't very useful.

CDP Neighbours

Hi, I have just noticed that the Neighbours option has disappeared under the Ports Tab for some of the devices we monitor via Observium; this looks to have happened after upgrading to version 0.11.10.2654. Is it something to do with my upgrade or is there something broken. The issue is that some do display the Neighbours Option on the same version so I am at odds about what is wrong. Dell OMSA

I am curious what attributes of Dell's OMSA snmpd integration are polled by Observium? Pre OMSA install the host was identified as Generic, post OMSA install/SNMP SMUX integration it polls the model correctly but nothing else. Hardware is a PowerEdge 1950 III. Some quick googling suggests that the OIDs for PE 1950, 2650, 2950, etc are not the same - although temp, voltage, fan, etc should be available, and is via the OMSA interface. Thought I would reach out to any fellow Dell + Observium users. Thanks, John

2641 > 2644 = Broken addhost.php

A svn update this afternoon from 2641 - 2644 appears to have broken ./addhost.php: ./addhost.php some.host.com blah v2c Always returns: No reply on community public Even with an incorrect community: ./addhost.php some.host.com blah1 v2c No reply on community public I can walk the device from the observium host without issue...

95th Billing is inaccurate

Hi We are having some more trouble with 95th billing. It seems that even on clients who are using very little (or nothing at all as they aren't using the ports yet) are showing an over usage on their 95th. Is there an easy way to correct this? graphs directory empty

Folks, So my graphs directory is empty. Thinking that this may be path issue (given that I have all the required supporting software installed), can someone tell me (a) what program generates the output that will go into the graphs directory and (b) which PHP scripts call that program? Cisco ASA Overview graph not working

Hi, I upgraded to the latest version of Observium (0.11.9.2550) and now the Cisco ASA traffic graph in the overview tab is showing "Error Drawing Graph". However when I hover the mouse over the graph area I can see the correct graphs in the pop-up window. Traffic graph error

Folks, Observium newbie here. I have it set up and running and thus far all is well other than port traffic graphs. When one tries to view these the following error is produced: XML Parsing Error: XML or text declaration not at start of entity Location: http://observium.foo.bar/graph-realtime.php?type=bits&id=3&interval=2 Line Number 2, Column 1:<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?> Observium revision is 2547 (current as of this writing). Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions will be received with appreciation. Thanks... Doug
