Another frontpage patch

Hi all, Here's another patch i've made to the front page, this time to add a "micrographs" function similar to the minigraphs, but with the difference that multiple sections are allowed, each corresponding to a row in the $config['frontpage']['micrographs'] array. Here's an example config excerpt: ... $config['frontpage']['order'] = array('device_status_boxes', 'minigraphs', 'micrographs', 'status_summary', 'eventlog'); ... $config['frontpage']['micrographs']['network']['ids'] = '1,device_bits,router1;2,device_bits,router2;3,device_bits,switch1;4,device_bits,firewall1;5,device_bits,firewall2'; $config['frontpage']['micrographs']['network']['title'] = 'Network'; $config['frontpage']['micrographs']['servers']['ids'] = '6,device_bits,vmhost1;7,device_bits,observium;8,device_bits,fileserver;9,device_bits,vmhost2;10,device_bits,backup'; $config['frontpage']['micrographs']['servers']['title'] = 'Servers'; ... This produces the following on the front page: Both the row labels and the graph labels are optional - if you leave them both out you get just a bare row of clickable graphs. There's no label justification, which looks a bit funny when labels are different lengths, but i figure people can just add space or whatever to make their front page look how they want it. hello guys, I would like to know how to change the refresh time of the equipment. because when charges that the equipment is down takes too long to update the status even when this is online. where can I change this time? thank you. ass eliezer

Hi Steve, I meant to reply to this earlier today. I would be willing to put money on this being caused by a authoritarian transparent proxy or over-ambitious layer 7 firewall. It smells like an intervening device deciding the connection is bad and cutting it off. I'm pretty sure it's nothing at our end else we'd be flooded by people complaining they're missing out on today's updates! Adam. New installation of Observium

hello, I just installed Observium and I discovered a little product. To help me integrate it into our SI, I have some questions: - I'm in the options menu as Customer or Pseudowire, but nowhere I see a button "create" what is normal? - At the location of routers, how to indicate the position of this one? - At Traffic Bills, is it possible that sending an email with the value précendent the 95th of the month for each link? - And finally, via the API, it is possible to recover the data to json rrd them into another application? including the graph generated by Traffic Bills Thank you in advance Jerome

One more thing, for the email, I use exim, so I'm assuming that running /usr/bin/newaliases tells the MTA about the changes below. Basic Installation Issue.

Hi All, I am having a very basic installation issue, however not being a major linux user I cannot seem to find a sensible answer online. I have a clean install of Ubuntu 12.04LTS and all the associated packages installed as per the instructions at observium.org however when I try to check out the latest version using SVN I am getting the following error : root@CAL-MGT-MON:/home/nelsons# svn co http://www.observium.org/svn/observer/trunk observium svn: OPTIONS of 'http://www.observium.org/svn/observer/trunk': Could not read status line: connection was closed by server (http://www.observium.org) I have tried using HTTPS as a protocol but it seems the server is not listening on 443. Any help would be good.
