Display poe power

Hi All We use a few Netgear GS110TP switches with POE for WiFi points and VOIP Phones Is it possible to have observium display the outputs of the power being provided to each port? Serial Number searches not working properly

Hi list, Hope everyone is well 😊 We have been using the serial number search feature a lot recently as part of an audit / support contract renewals. And we have found that when a stack of switches exists, only the first serial number for the first stack member is searchable! When going to the device and selecting the ‘Inventory’ tab, we can see the serial numbers for all stack members. But the search query is not finding these ☹ After discovering this exclusion, we have tested some more and found that the issue also exists for line cards. I.e. only the chassis serial number is searchable, the line card serial numbers in the chassis are not returning the node. Again, the serial numbers for the line cards are being correctly displayed in the Inventory. So at a guess, it seems like the SQL query needs enhancing to include the referential child rows or tables for devices internal components (guessing stack slave members are treated like line cards). traffic alert to a tunnel interface?

Hello I have some GRE tunnels without physical interface speed and theye are always in UP state. So in this case i am not able to set an alert to notify me when "ifInOctets perc le 1" or if the interface status is down. Is there any options to set up a byte/sec alert ex: i would like to get an alert if the average traffic is lower than 100 byte/sec in the last 5 mins ? Thanks Laszlo

How to exclude "virtual Memory" from an alert checker (but keep all other memory metrics)?

Hi We are using Observium Professional: 19.6.9946 (rolling) I have set up an alert check to check our servers for fully occupied memory ("mempool_perc greater 80"). I want to include the metrics "Memory buffers", "Physical Memory", "Swap space" but i want to exclude "Virtual memory". Is there a way of doing so and if so, how? One more question, this time about GeoCoding

Hello, We're running v19.6.9959. How do I tell Observium to look up the SNMP Location again for all devices? We've recently purchased an API key for google geocoding, which I've installed via the GUI. However, when I look at a specfic device --> Properties --> Geolocation, the Last updated field looks ok (2019-07-03 07:26:42) which is a few minutes after I logged into the device. Last update status, though, says: Geocoding ENABLED, try detect device coordinates: by PARSING sysLocation (API: YAHOO) - NOT REQUESTED GEO API REQUEST: QUERY DATE: Wed, 19 Jun 2019 12:16:42 -0400 It *does* work on a few devices, however, showing that it's using the Google API. Where would be a good place to start debugging this (as in, see exactly what observium is sending along with the response)? Thanks Richard J. RHEL and Observium enterprise license

Hi All, Just wondering if there is any support roadblocks if we use RHEL for our Observium installs with an enterprise license? I'm talking about scaling, feature requests, dev support...ect. We recently purchased an enterprise license and our environment is currently Debian, but we possibly need to move to RHEL. I understand Observium was developed under Debian, but I'm not finding anything in the FAQ besides some font issues that can be fixed. Thanks, Alan DeBoer

Suddenly won't update RRDs anymore

Hi, version 19.6.9959: all RRDs last update one week ago. Neither system log nor observium logs show any issue. /rrd folder permissions are as before. What should I check? Thanks Luca
