Hi guys, I have a question regarding custom OIDs feature: current approach is to have an OID and combine its values pulled from multiple hosts into one graph. Is (or will be) opposite approach possible - to combine multiple OIDs values pulled from the same host into one graph? Thanks! Regards, Pawel

Set fixed scale of Y-axis on mini-graphs?

Hello I'd like to set fixed values of the Y axis on the minigraphs. Is that possible? I don't find much value of the adaptive scaling since it means I have to read the AXIS and not only throw a quick eye at it to see anomalies. Excluding servers from alert checks

Gents, I’m trying to trigger an event based upon availability in the ”load balancer” section, trying to find a variable in the device data that I can trigger on. Basically I want to trigger if a Virtual Server is down, or if the HA status change. All that is visible in the GUI but not sure if I can create a trigger for it in the Alarm section, possible? //Anders

Feature or bug -- 0.16.1.7533 version - naming of connected port of known device reverts to Mac address.

In below devices/port display - we get for Slot0/21 the connected “port” on “device”. - i.e. eth0 on Ypenburg. However for Slot0/24 we get ’10’ on <macaddress>. Even though that actual port is called ‘Slot0/10’ on ‘Fooburg’ and known to Observium. Not sure if this is intentional - or the side effect from some LLCP discovery process gone awry. Dw.

vCE 0.16.1.7533 going to the VMs tab of a vmWare server shows duplicate entries. hunting this down in the code shows the following in html/pages/device/vm.inc.php foreach (dbFetchRows("SELECT * FROM vminfo WHERE device_id = ? ORDER BY vm_name", array($device['device_id'])) as $vm) { print_vm_row($vm, $device); } so running it on the command line echo 'SELECT * FROM vminfo WHERE device_id = '586' ORDER BY vm_name' | mysql --user=observium --password=not_my_pass observium reveals the entries to be duplicated in the table. they all seem to have the last field as a difference. there must be something missing in the code for adding the entries to not find the first entries and update them. Hello, I've just completed a new install of Observium, version 0.16.1.7535 (27th January 2016), and have a couple of questions in hopes that someone can point me to the correct debugging process. 1) The mac address information on the port is of the port itself, rather than the connected device. We are strictly Cisco in our switching, most are 2960 variety with some 3750 and 3850 mixed in. I see in the demo software, the mac address on the port pages shows that of the client. Also, several months ago, we ran a small version of Observium (since decommissioned) and the client mac populated. 2) Auto discovery based on CDP seems really sporadic, several neighbors will be added, but some will not. SNMP settings are the same across the board and CDP discovered neighbors can be added manually without issue. Is there any chance someone has come across these before?
