Hi all, We have a requirement for some IPv6 IPSLA instances on an ASR9k. Can't say this has ever come up before, but anyway, it appears that the IPv6 target IPs don't show up (thousand words below): Is this a known issue (ie. Cisco failing to send it) or did we find a bug? Interestingly, the actual 'result' latency data is all there (and correct) but somewhat difficult to comprehend without the target IP :) Cheers! Active Directory/SSO Issue

Hi, I'm trying to configure SSO with active directory per instructions at http://docs.observium.org/authentication/#active-directory-with-sso? But, once I enable "active_directory" in /opt/observium/config.php as the auth method. I got this error message on the browser : This page isn't working aaa.bbb.com redirected you too many times. Try clearing your cookies. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS Any pointers, clues ? Thanks In Advance, Tarkan

VRF defined by route-target not route-distinguisher

Hi All, Just wondering if there is a way to use route-target to define our VRF's on observium instead of RD. We use route reflector's and therefore have a need for different RD's on each PE for the same VRF. However this means that we get 10 or so VRF's listings for the same VRF. Ideally we would just flip it to be RT if possible. (we use, Juniper MX, Cisco Nexus, Cisco IOS) Any feedback massively appreciated. Only had OBS running for just over a week and hugely impressed. Observium CE email notifications not working?

Hello everyone, I am a newbie to observium. I am using Observium CE 0.16.10.8128 (6th October 2016) . I have configured config.php as follows: $config['poller-wrapper']['alerter'] = TRUE; $config['email']['enable'] = TRUE; $config['email']['from'] = "noreply(a)xyz.com"; $config['email']['default'] = "uname(a)xyz.com"; $config['email']['default_only'] =TRUE; $config['email']['backend'] = "mail"; $config['email']['sendmail_path'] = "/usr/sbin/sendmail"; $config['email']['smtp_host'] = "smtp.xyz.com"; $config['email']['smtp_port'] = 587; $config['email']['smtp_timeout'] = 10; $config['email']['smtp_secure'] = "tls"; $config['email']['smtp_auth'] = TRUE; $config['email']['smtp_username'] = 'my uname'; $config['email']['smtp_password'] = 'my passwd'; I have added an alert check "device_status equals 0" for one of my server which i am monitoring using observium . The alert checker works fine as it can be seen from web based GUI but i am not receiving email notification on alert state change. Why so? syslog alert notifications not firing

Howdy, I’ve setup syslog integration in our copy of observium. In the UI’s /syslog_alerts/ we are seeing the alerts. I have the syslog rules turned on in both our email and telegram contacts. I’ve rebuilt the rule checkers. Unfortunately we’re not getting alerted. We’re getting other alerts, just not for syslogs. I can’t find anything in the obs log or the server’s syslog that would tell me why it’s not working. Can anyone point me to how I can troubleshoot this please? Thanks, Joey

Community Edition Release Cycle

Hi – I read somewhere that the Community edition is released on a 6 monthly cycle and can see that the last and current release is 0.16.10 (26th October 2016). I was just wondering if this is no longer the case or whether a fresh Community edition is due for release soon ? Storage reading error

Hello Support, Any advice on fixing observium so it doesn't drop reading storage? [image: Inline image 1] This seems to happen at random. I'll reboot the observium server and it comes up reading random machines as 0 storage. Polling

Hello, After the installation we have an issue with the rrdtool. In order to have a graph we must have a polling each 5 minutes, but that's used a lot of cpu. Is it possible to have a polling each 15 minutes and have all the graphs or not. And if it's possible, how we can do this, we have searched but not find how do this. Thank you for your help. Reporting Windows mount points in CE edition

Hello, Currently we are using Observium to monitor many Windows servers and I can see CE edition doesn't show Windows mount points in host filesystem. Do Professional edition shows them ? It would be great to monitor disks capacity for typical disks (C:, D: ) as well as mount points. Regards, Silvio
