Hi, I managed to install Observium rev2831 on SLES11SP1, and it's working great!! Trying to add hosts by CLI I was getting the "cannot ping" message, fixed it adding "$config['fping'] = "/usr/sbin/fping";" to config.php. Now, I keep getting the same trying to use the Web UI to add a hosts, apparently it's not using the config['fping'] variable. Is that possible? VLAN Tabs missing?

Hi, I just upgraded to the latest version and I noticed that the VLAN Tab is now gone. Although I can still see what VLAN; VLAN number to be precise; an interface belongs to under the device Ports tab, I cannot see any VLAN name like I used to before. Hi, I posted some questions in the forum, but the maillist seems to be a lot more active, so I'll summarize them here: 1- Trending Support: Is that on the roadmap?, from what I've read RRD already supports trending.. 2- Collectd: I see there's support for collectd, should I implement it alongside observium?, would that duplicate data?. Patch to monitor by-outlet APC MasterSwitch bars

Hi, We have recently installed some APC power bars that can be monitored by outlet (AP8653). I have written a patch for Observium (attached) that creates sensor for each of the ports on a AP8653. The patch also includes getting the input voltage for the newer "rPDU2" type power bars. I found the snmp queries to be slow against these new apcs when returning the current information, hence the increased timeout. Any suggestions/improvements are more than welcome! Regards Jordan

No authorisation to app apache

Hi My "normal users" can access the page App >> Apache (they are granted access to the device) but the graphs is not displaying. Only the text "No authorization" and a pink graph showing no values. Is this a bugg or do I have to grant access other than to the device for the users ? The Administrator classed users have no problem. Aha. Sounds like new behaviour in Ubuntu copied from debian upstream. Its very annoying, as you discovered. Ill need ti mention it in the install guide, as currently its only a footnote for debian!
