[observium] HP Power consumption

Thank you all for any response and for the great observium tool! I was wondering if obserium could monitor my HP Proliant power consumption (on Linux server). During my initial search I found 2 items in JIRA: http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-476 and http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-1834 After installing the hp-snmp-agents and activating them in SNMP I see information in snmpwalk (using this as resource: http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:-mM1kr6Ubv0J:thejimmah… ) But unlike JIRA issue-1834 suggests only very few information was added. 59m 28s srv01 Asset_tag -> 59m 28s srv01 Serial -> CZJ2XXXXXX 59m 28s srv01 Hardware -> HP ProLiant ML350 G6 x86 [64bit] When looking at the following Nagios check a lot more information could be added: https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/Plugins/Hardware/Server-Hardware/HP-%… Has anybody tried adding extra information for HP servers? Alert entity references

Setting up alert types and curious if those referenced in the documentation is generic for all supported devices? Trying to set up the following power supply threshold as an example to test alert and notification. Just little confused on the required syntax for entity. Subscriber license for Enterprise project

The site indicates a Professional Edition can be available for Open Source projects and curious if I am testing this in an Enterprise environment if that would qualify for this edition? Curious about the grouping feature and especially the threshold alerting to compare with Nagios currently in use in our production environment. //Garrett

Observium device capacity and SIP

Currently testing Observium in lab environment with an initial 90 HP devices to possibly propose migrate away from Nagios. I don't see in the documentation if there is a performance limit reached if and when I add another 40 devices. Also, does this same platform support SIP error logging traffic or is it limited to discovered enabled modules? //Garrett

32 vs 64 iftable counters

Hello, We have some switches which have broken 64bit iftable snmp counters. I've opened a bug report w/ the vendor, but don't have an ETA on a fix at this time. The 32bit counters seem to be working ok. Is there a way to tell Observium to just use the 32bit counters? Thanks, Andrew
