Hello! I've wird problem with "Can't resolve ...." when adding device (from ./add_device.php and from website). Te solution was simple - there was missing "search domain" at /etc/resolv.conf - i don't find this kind of problem and solution, so you can add it at site to Troubleshooting. Thanks. Regards. -- . Hi, i'm running observium (latst svn) on a ubuntu 14.04 System. Have Setup rsyslog for udp listening, deployed /etc/rsyslog.d/30-observium.conf as stated in http://www.observium.org/docs/syslog/ However my observium.syslog table stays empty. I have enabled debugging and syslog debuging in config.php so everytime i send a string to /opt/observium/syslog.php the string appears in my observium debug logs. $config['snmp']['max-rep'] working?

Hi Chaps, I'm trying to use $config['snmp']['max-rep] = 9 to work around an issue with a device that won't return everything from ifAlias when using the default (10), however checking the discovery debug it doesn't actually seem to actually be setting the -Cr option in snmpbulkwalk? Am I missing something else to make this work, or is it actually just not working due to its 'experimental' state in the documentation? Running 0.15.10.7059 Thanks, Tim C

Finally, I managed to have the APP tab, however 2 problems still persist: 1. The NTP Graphs and PDNS the show nothing, just error graph not drawing 2. im seeing device down but they are not

over the last few days i have starting seen alert mails with device down.. but its not down.. and there is no recover.. anyone got a suggestion why that could be? I mean it could be a short connection problem but than i would assume to see recover mail aswell?
