User interface access error

Hi all, I give my customers access to observium so they can view the traffic from my switch to their network through their port. This used to work great, but now users can't view their port anymore. I get some access denied errors. Giving access to a device still works, to a single interface not. I don't know since what version this bug exists, my customers don't check their traffic every day. Another issue is that in the "all devices" and "all ports" sections they can see all devices that are being monitored by observium, even if they don't have access to it. A small security issue here. Hmm. Just recently someone tested this and these issues weren't there. I am thinking of stripping out the complex permissions system altogether. Adam. Hy all, i have several Aruba IAP-93, i was wondering if i can "attach" a specific mib (which is not the same mib for Aruba Controller) to these devices ? thanks for your help, Regards,

This is all done in rrdtool, so purely graphical initially. It is possible to extract this kind of data from rrdtool in numerical form, but it's quite slow, certainly too slow to do in the poller. Also, I would say in this instance you would set a warning at 75%. Much easier :) Adam. Cisco IOS VLAN update

Hi, the description of vlan's in cisco ios isn't updated. If a desc is changed, i need to change it in the observium db manually. Is there a possibility to automate that? Regards patrick

Integration with Nagions/Smokeping - How does it work?

Hi, I am new to Observium. Downloaded it last week and got a few devices working on it. Did Rancid plug-in and now all configs show up on Observium. I also added following to config.php and have Nagios3 and Smokeping running independently on the same box. However I don't know how its supposed to show up. Rancid was obvious because of the extra tab that shows up. How does it work with nagios and smoke ping?
