Is there a trick to getting custom logos working?

Hello, I'm trying to get a custom logo working on my install with a png file. The file has the following properties: [image: Inline image 1] Is located in the /html/images directory: [image: Inline image 2] And has been configured using the following config line: $config['web']['logo'] = "logo-dk.png"; but for some reason, the logo is not updating in the web gui. Is there anything that I can try to get this working properly?

Creating alerts

Hello, I want to create alerts for individual people from the groups (marked) (example in checker associations I type equals Printers not working) It was only when I founded a new group it works, but why duplicate the entities. Featured objects are not groups? Slow page when accessing the Syslog message

Dears, in my Observium, i have about 800.000 Syslog messages. When i want to access it via Observium - Syslog page, it take about 10-15 minutes. My HW is : 8 GB RAM, 8 cores, HyperV Would you be so kind to let me know, how can i tune it ? Also the other pages of Observium are quite slow Thank you

devices without snmp

Dear all, Currently we are looking into the different option to get data from NSX Edge devices. Since snmp is not available on them we used the api to get the statistic information. Currently we store those values in a database. We would like to know what would be the best way to import this data into observium. Our goal is to have a generic solution that we can use for all kinds of data gathered from devices without snmp. We are also willing to contribute this to the observium community. >From what I have seen we have several options: 1. using an agent to provide the data on the agent port. 2. write an application. Customer Records Missing on rebuild

Hi - I did a full rebuild of Observium and restored the database. I previously had the ability to view 'Customers'. I can still see the Customers item in the Ports drop down but there are no entries. I can see that there are no records in the Customers table in the db. Since the customers were generated by polling the devices I thought this might just be a short term problem however after nearly 24 hours there are still no customer entries. I am wondering if I have missed something in the config or if perhaps this is because I have only installed the community edition initially whereas we had previously used the subscription edition including the traffic accounting functionality? Not sure where to start investigating the issue so would appreciate any suggestions. Cheers Mal

Server port description

Hi Guys, What effect does the “Server:” port description have “inside” observium - I can’t see anything. Can we get a server tab under the ports menu perhaps ? (I am using the stable SVN so this might already be implemented) (Core etc has the effect of putting it under a certain tab etc) Thanks, Pieter
