Hi All, i have created a request for a feature http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-872 observium.log file rotate yes i can set it up manually to do it via webmin but would be easier if observium did itself… regards Simon

Hi All, hoping someones got some light on this error i’m seeing every so often... I monitor one of our Mailcleaners (http://www.mailcleaner.org) and every time I restart the mailcleaner service or the mailcleaner itself i get the following message in Observium System snmpEngineID changed: 80001F8880BF0033479D178E5300000000 -> 80001F8880DC0B531E1F92915300000000 (probably the device was replaced). Observium Subscription on RHEL

Hi, If we were thinking of moving to the subscription service with some service options for feature development etc but our VM infrastructure is RHEL would we be unable to get the development service as the OS is unsupported or is it just the installation process that's unsupported? Regards, Emma

There is the question - I'm working for 2 companies, so can I purchase professional version and use it as 2 different instances in each company I've working in? DNS Aliases

Hi, I understand that Observium needs the hostnames to be valid, so we tweaked our hosts file with a regex to add an alias to match the device hostnames (as our initial names had some extra info in the names not on the hosts). But this appears to allow me to add devices manually but autodiscovery doesn't seem to be working. Does Observium need it to be the 'main' resolvable hostname rather than an alias? Regards, Emma

Billing View display issue

Hey all, We made a topographical change to a portion of our network last night - to be specific, we separated a large fiber ring into two smaller rings. After this change was made, the Billing View in Traffic Accounting is not displaying new data. Here's the kicker, the data is there; 24 Hour View and Monthly View display as expected. It seems to only affect the Billing View - screenshots attached. This isn't so much of a problem, just an oddity that I noticed. Anyone have a theory here? Regards, SG
