Not sure if this is the best place to ask these questions, but I haven't had any success with direct emails to keep this off the list. Might have sent them to the wrong address. I'm interested in getting the subscription, or Pro, edition of Observium. I've been asked to see if we can get an eval so we can determine if the enhancements either improve compatibility with Brocade VDXes, and/or if the additional features we would gain are of value to us. We are also a registered nonprofit in the US if that qualifies us for free access to the subscription edition. Thanks for any help!

Selectively enable polling fdb-table

Hi, We have globally disabled polling fdb-table, i.e in in config.php we have $config['poller_modules']['fdb-table'] = 0; Now we'd like to selectively ENABLE polling of the fdb-table, but only on a subset of devices. Is there a way to do this? From what I can figure out it's only possible to do it the other way around, that is enable fdb-table polling GLOBALLY and then device by device DISBALE polling. But we'd like to have polling OFF by default and then selectively enable it on a few devices. Any ideas? Traffic group multiple network types

Hi All, I try to create a ports group to filter the uplinks. Now i have the follow Assocations: Device Match:hostname match *.hostname.net Entity Match:ifName eq eth0 This works perfect but i want to have the options to add more network card types like: Entity Match:ifName eq eth0,em1,p2p1,et_0 etc etc how can i create a entity string? Connect Via options.

On network devices if you hover over the cog on the right hand side you get a bunch of connect via.. SSH, HTTPS, HTTP etc.. is there a way for those items to also appear on firewalls? as that would be really nice to have.. Cisco WLC and monitoring AP

Hello team, can i monitoring Cisco AP under WLC controller? by this case https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/11394301/cisco-wlc-ap-count-over… probably WLC via SNMP can controll it, for me i need create Alert for unregistrer AP. Can i monitor this by Observium? network weathermap

Is anyone familiar with this? http://blog.best-practice.se/2014/07/using-php-weathermap-with-observium.ht… Does it still work with the subscription version of Observium? Im having trouble making it work. I followed the steps to a T but... no luck. I even made a network map with 2 devices but I'm not sure that's even correct because the weather maps never load. It goes back to the regular index.php page Thanks for any tips -Daniel

Setting default sensor limits

Just wondering what the best way is to set the default sensor limits? For example, I would like to set the battery temperature sensor max to 50C for all of our UPS units instead of the current default of 91.36C which would basically mean that the ups has melted into the floor.

Set System Name

We have many Ricoh printers and copiers. Because SNMP is horrible on these devices I am unable to set the System Name (sysName). Is there a way to set this manually in Observium?

Customer's web portal for Observium

Hi All, Is there an additional plugin for managing user and group for Observium? Or anywhere we can modify for user customer's portal purpose? Eg: For customer web accessing, we only provide normal user permission applied with limitted device or port access for that customer only and it should not display Overview, Grouping, Weathermap, Routing module.... anywhere we can disable that kind of module to accomplish? We just want a normal user see only device and port are allowed only. Please check as bellow picture Can we just disable these red box for normal user accessing?
