Hi All, I'm getting this error when I try to login to our observium in my console monitor? TypeError: $(...).bootstrapSwitch is not a function - observi...11.8221 (line 143, col 3) <> <> $('[data-toggle="switch"]').bootstrapSwitch(); <> I can actually see in index page that it doesn’t include the bootstrapswitch.js unlike the other pages Adam, maybe you forgot to include it :) regards Simon

Overal Transit Traffic Today

Hi all, I just visited the live demo on Observium's site and noticed that when you log in there's an overall transit traffic today section. On our version of Observium we don't have this, even though versions seem to be the same (Observium 0.16.10.8181 (stable)). I've had a quick look in the global settings but can't see how to enable this? Has anyone got this working on their installs, we'd like to have this feature on ours J Thanks in advance. Possible bug with device properties port tab and toggles

I was not sure of the netiquette of posting bugs in jira so I thought I would send to the mailing list instead. I have been having a problem with the toggle buttons on the top of the device properties -> ports tab. The problem started with the toggle buttons not working properly, when pressed all of the toggle buttons would function like the device save submit button. I seem to be able to recreate this problem and duplicate after doing a bit of looking at the code and testing, it seems to be an artifact of disabling the mouseover popups. Does not work: Global Settings -> Edit, Web UI tab, Mouseover Popus set to Custom/False Device properties -> port tab, toggle buttons do not function, merely submit page Works: Global Settings -> Edit, Web UI tab, Mouseover Popups set to Custom/True Device properties -> port tab, toggle buttons function properly Let me know if anyone has any suggestions or perhaps something I need to change on my side. I did a fresh up to date ubuntu install to validate and the same behavior happens there. Hello, I just decided to add my Ubiquity devices last night, and i keep getting event logs that the ports are down and up for my switches, and for the access points i get wifi0 and wifi1 are down. packetflux expansion units

Hi everybody.... Packetflux is officially supported by observium - I brought one base unit and 2 expansion units for testing (replacing my today used zenoss installation). Unfortunately observium does only import base version and not the expansion units with the temperature sensors.... Today I have added OIDs of the expansion units and assigned to the base unit manually.... But this not the way it should work.... Can someone confirm that packetflux is fully supported (incl. expansion units )? Any way to import them into observium? Thanks for your ideas.... FreeBSD ports updated

For those that rely on the freebsd ports install to get the ‘dependencies’ right — know that https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports?view=revision&revision=425979 has moved Observium to version 0.16.10.8128 as of last night. Note that the dependency on svn (to up to trunk) is no longer automatic. Dw.

Hi all Could it be possible to realize polling and alerting toggling for Storage similar to the settings under device's port properties? We have several devices showing their storages, some of them don't need to be shown. rsyslog problems

Hi all, I have an issue with rsyslog after adding the script 30-observium.conf to /etc/rsyslog.d. Before that, rsyslog is logging, as expected, all the local events to /var/log/messages and /var/log/syslog. After installing the script and restarting rsyslogd all the remote events are logged to MySQL and you can see them in Observium, but local events are not logged anymore. Seems to be an issue with the script for Observium in /etc/rsyslog.d and I got the same issue in a fresh installation, so I believe anyone else may had the same problem. The first installation is a TurnKey VM based in Debian Jessie. The second one is based in Debian testing (stretch). Both systems use rsyslogd 8.xx. I used the script recommended in Observium´s website. Any advice? Drop Paddle as payment processor

Could I just float a request to drop Paddle as a payment processor? When I have time to build and deploy a system, I don't want to have to wait days to get a licence issued because Paddle assumes that every transaction is fraudulent. What about Stripe, or any company that actually has customer service? Bought a packetflux site monitor (base unit II) with 2 temp expansion units (supported by observium)... The site monitor shows all temp probes in the webgui - observium shows only the base unit probes after adding the device... adding port to customer group?
