My sensors were deleted

Good morning, I was just trying to check the history on one of my Geist Watchdog environment sensors and I have no environment graphs - temperature, humidity, or dew point. It's the same for all of my Geist devices. I checked the logs and found these entries: 2019-12-05 12:34:10 OS-ServerRoom Dew Point Sensor deleted: dewpoint geist-v4-mib internalDewPoint.1 OS-ServerRoom Dew Point 2019-12-05 12:34:10 OS-ServerRoom Humidity Sensor deleted: humidity geist-v4-mib internalHumidity.1 OS-ServerRoom Humidity 2019-12-05 12:34:10 OS-ServerRoom Temperature Sensor deleted: temperature geist-v4-mib internalTemp.1 OS-ServerRoom Temperature I have Device Availability and Device Uptime graphs but that's it. I ran a discovery on them but after an hour still no enviromental data. I checked a couple of the devices and the information is there. Any ideas on what's going on and how to fix it? I am using an FDQN for Observium. When I get an email notification, it looks like: How can I get the URL in the email to use the FDQN? Note that the 10.14.1.76 is the internal IP of our instance. We do a NAT to an outside IP with a DNS record. So I’d like the URL to be http://observium.mydomain.com Thanks, -Robert

LXC monitoring via SNMP

I'm monitoring 3 LXC containers of my new installed homelab server but somehow the CPU values polled via SNMP are completely messy while checking inside the container with TOP they are correct there. Attached is a screenshot of one of three fresh installed LXC containers where they are doing nothing yet showing the CPU utilization via SNMP and TOP. Also the physical server does nothing and is showing the correct values via SNMP and TOP. Anyone know how to fix that? thx, cody

We run our observium server as a vmware guest. We had to do a fair bit of tuning to get udp and rx buffers to a point where we weren't losing responses (& in your case, syslog messages). Might be worth looking into. Gaps in Graphs

Hello, periodically I have "gaps" in my graphs which appears to be when Observium was unable to reach a particular host. This problem occurs on multiple hosts at the same time on different network segments and I have been unable to find any commonality except for the Observium server itself. I noticed that the gaps in the graph also exist at the same times for Observium's checks of localhost. Checking localhost of course demonstrates this is not a lack of network connectivity outside of the server. Cronjob Problem

Hello, here's the problem. If I start the poller-wrapper manually in the shell it works without problems. But if it is started by the cronjob, I get the following error message: ERROR: Could not load or parse observium configuration, are PATHs correct? Does anyone know the problem and how to fix it?

RSSI graphs

If I want to see Receive Power, Link Capacity, Transmit Power, etc., I can use this URL: http://10.14.4.76/p2pradios/view=graphs/ But I get all of the devices. I don't see a way to apply filters. Getting here from the Web page, I select Ports/P2P Radios. For Access points, all of their clients show up. In my case, I am seeing 700 devices on a single page. How can I apply a filter? Memory stats not showing on Juniper MX204s

Hi all, We've just swapped out some Juniper MX80's for MX204s: https://www.juniper.net/us/en/products-services/routing/mx-series/mx204/ and we are running Juniper JunOS 18.2R1.9 ([MX204] Internet Router). not getting cpu cores and network interfaces

Hi, I have some servers where i only get one cpu graph instead the cores listed where the Temperatur sensors showing 12 cores - there are two six-core Intel Xeon X5675 cpu's inside. Also i do not get any network interfaces fetched: ##### Module Start: ports ##### o Caching OIDs ifDescr ifAlias ifName ifType ifOperStatus o Caching DB 0 ports o Discovering ports o Duration 30.2533s There are two onboard 1G and two onboard 10G nic's and a additional dual-port 1G nic card inside. Also the inventory option does not show up. SNMP is configured the same as on all the other servers, running Debian 10 on them. I have two other Servers with Debian 7 and Intel Xeon X3360 showing all the cores, nic's and inventory. Thanks, Cody
