Transit link not working

On the front page I've enabled the overall <class> traffic today. But when I click on the Transit Graph to drill down to iftype/type=transit/, I get "None Found". I have 2 ports on 2 different routers set to type Transit with the following strings in ifAlias: Router 1: <https://sd-observium01.kratos.us/device/device=1/tab=port/port=1/> GigabitEthernet0/0/0 Transit: [200Mbit] AVPN (13979) {ATT-BMEC.959625 - Vz-13.KRGN.57 Router 2: <https://sd-observium01.kratos.us/device/device=2/tab=port/port=13/> GigabitEthernet0/0/0 Transit: [200Mbit] AVPN (13979) {ATT-BKEC.946484 - Vz-46.KFGS.30 Looks like they get cut off too.. What's the string max for those? Ping settings don't apply when set in config.php

Hi Guys, I've just updated our version to the subscription one and found several of our devices now show in Observium as going up and down. After a big of digging it looks like this is because their latency is around the 50ms mark and they fluctuate up and down around 5ms so the default ping timeout times out. I tried setting the following in config.php but the behaviour did not change. Ping Settings $config['ping']['timeout'] = 500; # timeout in ms $config['ping']['retries'] = 6; # how many times to retry the query I added a bit of code to the debug to print out the values of $timeout and $retries in the isPingable function and found that it didn't matter what was set in config.php the values would always end up at $timeout=50 and $retries=1. I set them manually in the function just above $sleep and it kicked in and worked and the up/down notifications behaved as they used to. Have I goofed up the config.php somehow (I used the same as above) or is something else NQR somewhere? All other options in config.php seem to work and php -l config.php returns "No syntax errors detected in config.php" Cheers, Nathan Phelan

NFS application monitor

Howdy, Does anyone have any info on how to set up the NFS application monitoring? I've taken a read through of the install docs and there's no mention of the NFS monitor. Observium Home Page - Sensors

Hi Guys, Can someone please fix the links on the sensors section of the home page (please see below or attached). [cid:image001.png@01CF240B.61979D00] If you click on ports/devices under Down it takes you to the down devices or ports, but on sensors it just takes you to the health page. Geocoding

OK I'll admit I was goofing around, in config.php I changed the geocoding API setting from google to mapquest for like ten seconds. Most of my sites are now clumped in the island off Portugal now. I've tried editing the sysLocations and rediscovering/polling to no avail. Halp! Now what? MAC Accounting

Hi All, I'm sure this was discussed a while back but I've searched the mailing list and can't find anything. Is MAC accounting still supported in Observium or is this feature present in the code but awaiting removal? If it is support how are people using it? I am testing on Cisco IOS devices and its not working very well for me. I have configure under a physical interface the following: ip accounting output-packets ip accounting mac-address input ip accounting mac-address output I have some juniper MX tin in the lab I can test. Is this feature supported on Juniper too, would one perhaps have to configure "mac-learn-enable" as per this document? http://www.juniper.net/techpubs/en_US/junos13.2/topics/usage-guidelines/int… Below are the results I am getting from a Cisco 2821 for example running c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.124-25f.bin; All MACs have no IP addresses: http://i.imgur.com/CMBPjHf.png If I switch to the graph view they are all blank: http://i.imgur.com/nlaRqar.png If I click on any graph I get a permissions error (my user account is in the admins group): http://i.imgur.com/NcwKy8O.png The Top10 is partially working, it seems to be missing a lot of data: http://i.imgur.com/NraRHVc.png I have the same results (most data is missing) on a Cisco 1841 running c1841-adventerprisek9-mz.124-25f.bin in our office. SVN working but not working

I finally got svn to work by proxying it through a server with actual internet access. I love how I have to make an end-run around the network guys so I can give them what they want. Hilarious. Anyway I did the svn co http://..... Blah blah and it seemed to work properly. Then I run discovery and get this. (poller does the same thing) ./discovery.php -h dc-m-sitelink svn: '/opt/observium' is not a working copy Observium v0.SVN.ERROR Discovery Do I need to wipe and reinstall? I'd prefer not to as I have ~50 hosts set up and everything is otherwise working well.
