Proper procedure in Observium for hardware replacement?

So, I had a question regarding hardware replacement. I recently replaced several Cisco 2811 routers with Cisco ISR 4331's, and kept the same host name. After the swap, I noticed I wasn't getting any graphs for data flow on the serial interfaces. I attempted running discovery on them again, and waited for a few polling cycles, but still go no data. In the end, I ended up deleting the devices completely out of Observium, including the RRD files, and re-adding. After this was done, everything showed up correctly. So, as I will be doing more of these soon, is there a specific process I should follow for these? Maybe rename the old device to a different hostname, then add the new device? The historical data wasn't critical, so I'm not too bothered losing it, but I would like to avoid it if possible. Thanks, Derek

No longer retrieving software version

Hi, we are running 0.16.6.7912(rolling). After a recent svn update, the SW version is not being reported correctly After running the poller.php on a single device with '-dd' options the below is seen. I have tried software versions on the product that did used to report the version. However they now are not. Greets, I signed up to the mailing list just to point out that the page header on all documentation pages is half-obscured by the menu bar and looks like crap. In the picture, it's the 'Screenshots' header, but it's on all pages. Thought you might want to know that. http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=103988 Yes, it's scrolled all the way up... Also, having a simple contact email address at the bottom of the homepage for this type of thing would certainly be nice. Broken Graphs

Hello Everyone! I have recently updated toObservium CE 0.16.1.7533 <http://www.observium.org/> i am facing broken graph issue i googled but haven't find anything except for updating to latest stable version but still facing broken graph issues for long date range (for example, graph range for 2 weeks, monthly and yearly ranges). i have also update rrdtool to RRDtool 1.6.0 but still facing same issues. I have create graphs from command line but still getting broken graphs, Can anyone help me solving this issue ? I have attached sample image, Thanks in advance :) Cheers!
