The includes/definitions/os.inc.php file has a do not edit disclaimer at the top. Is there a file I can make changes to to add the 'remote access' options? I may have edited the file anyway and the options propagated appropriately to the devices. Will these changes be reverted during a svn up? Printer toner alert

Hi All! I'm fairly new with the alerts, so don't hit me too hard. :) I'm trying to create an alert checker for some printers, it should send an alert when the toner level is below 5%. The associations seem OK, at least my Device Match rule "|type equals printer|" (with an "*" entity match) yields all the printers in Observium. But the condition rule seems suspect to me. Based on the documentation and the examples I wrote: |"supply_value lt 5%" |but it shows everything OK on all printers, despite of having at least 3 printers with 1% toner cartridge. Could you help me, what am I doing wrong, or what's missing? Btw: I'm using the latest CE version. Should I include some more information? Regards, Tylla

Customizing Recent Events

Dear all, I’d like to put a filter on “Recent Events” section of the dashboard, but I could not find any information regarding that. Now the section is too chatty, for example I see lots of these messages: Et140/1/48 Interface changed: [ifDuplex] '' -> ‘unknown’ or Et141/1/39 Interface changed: [ifDuplex] '' -> 'fullDuplex' But what I’d like to see is when an interface goes up and down, and hide not important messages if possible. Hi , I see ZHONE directory in /opt/observium/mibs/zhone. I added Zhone MKX to Observium but it seems that Observium did not recognize the OS type. How to specify the type of OS ? then Observium can use Zhone MIB to query data ? Hello! I have installed new instance of observium with the official instruction on Debian 7.8 x64 Observium version is CE 0.16.1.7533. Tried to add a device via web-interface, result is: Could not resolve 192.168.0.2 And I can not add any device at all.
