Assistance Updating Observium

Hi There, I have been attempting to reach someone from the Observium team to assist my company and I in updating our Software. We followed the instructions on the website located here: https://docs.observium.org/updating/ We did not have success. Our Observium server is hosted on a Linux Ubuntu server. Is there someone at Observium that could take a few minutes and assist us please? I look forward to hearing from you. jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation for Juniper Virtual-Chassis

Hello Observium Team, In our Datacenters we would like to make use of "jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation" for Juniper switches using Virtual-chassis techhnology. Normally virtual-chassis are in different locations for redundancy reasons. The "snmp location" is not really good to capture the location of the device (as the two switches are in different places but location will show what is configured with "snmp location" command). We updated our switch config with "jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation" information, but we still dont see the data in Observium. > show snmp mib walk jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation.0 = B-U-099 R01.01 jnxVirtualChassisMemberLocation.1 = B-U-098 R01.02 Is this feature on the roadmap to be added? Not sure how much additional work this feature to be added, but going for the Enterprise model may potentially help with this feature request? Thank you for the feedback. Hello, Thanks for your excellent software. We are very interested in buying a Professional Subscription subscription (to begin with) but we don't have company issued cards and not allowed to used paypal either. Is there any possibility to do a invoice / bank transfer instead ?

ping probe not running

Mass SNMP Edit

Hi, I have migrated my devices from SNMp v1/2c to SNMP v3. As we have quote a number of devices, is there a script or anyway to mass edit the SNMP settings to v3 for these specific devices? We have put in config.php for v3 autodiscovery, but it isn't working. Warmest Regards, Nirmolak Singh

Adding more Nagions plugins

I went ahead and added another plugin to the /usr/lib/nagios/plugins directory where all the other working plugins are. When I go to add a probe it doesn't show up in the drop down box. Is there something that has to be ran to look for new plugins? Permissions/use/group are the same as the other plugins that work. Thanks

Oxidized Integration?

Hi, I am currently testing a replacement for rancid. Rancid has worked for a long time, but adding new device classes feels more and more unwieldy. Oxidized [1] makes a good first impression and I was able to add new device classes without big problems. Then of course I would also like to see an integration with my favorite network management tool :-) There are people who have already worked on this: https://github.com/colin-stubbs/observium-oxidized It looks like this patch doesn't quite work for current observium versions, so I'd like to ask if anyone is working on it and what are the chances that there could be an Observium integration (professional edition)?
